A Week in Alberta

Johnston Canyon

The Liberty Skis team traveled from Calgary up towards Banff National Park. Due to extremely low temperatures, the crew took the day off and explored Johnston Canyon before arriving at the hostel.

Hostel Life

Shortly after arriving at the hostel, the Jay Starnino and Colin Sutherland began researching zones for the following ski day; keeping an eye on weather and snow conditions. Once a plan was in place, the team was able to pack their bags and relax.

Bow summit on a chilly day

Temperatures were pushing -30°F, but the Liberty Skis team was still on the snow early in the morning.

Back to the resort

After 3 days of skiing in the Alberta backcountry, the guys returned to chairlift-access resort skiing at Lake Louise Resort.
